On July 16, the Sustainable Markets Initiative China Forum, part of the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), was held in Beijing. The forum was co-hosted by the China Chamber of International Commerce and the Sustainable Markets Initiative. Focusing on electrification and the integrated development of power generation, grid, load, and energy storage ("source-grid-load-storage"), the forum gathered industry leaders and experts to discuss policy coordination for renewable energy, breakthroughs in key technologies, and cross-border investment cooperation—aiming to accelerate global energy transition and promote sustainable development.
Mr. Wang Yuefeng, Chairman of Liyu Group, was invited to attend and delivered a keynote speech titled "Electrification and Source-Grid-Load-Storage Integration." In his remarks, he highlighted Liyu's innovative practices in distributed energy and shared strategic insights into the evolving global energy landscape.

Chairman Wang noted that the global energy structure is undergoing profound change. The share of electricity in total energy consumption is quickly rising—from 30% today toward a 70% target—requiring not only modernization of centralized systems but also the coordinated advancement of distributed energy networks. As a global manufacturer of gas engines and provider of integrated energy solutions, Liyu Group has established distributed energy stations in over 20 countries, actively driving a shift in energy utilization through technological innovation.
Addressing the "source" in the "source-grid-load-storage" system, Chairman Wang emphasized Liyu's role as a primary energy supplier and introduced the company's Three-Source Strategy:
Eco-Friendly Sources: Unlocking the value of industrial exhaust gases—such as emissions from China's steel industry and Shanxi's coalbed methane—through efficient capture and conversion, potentially meeting 20–30% of national electricity demand.
Clean Sources: Utilizing clean fossil fuels like methane to deliver near-zero carbon energy.
Renewable Sources: Building future-ready solutions based on hydrogen, methanol, and ammonia, which will play a vital role in tomorrow’s energy systems.
With its mission to "Striving towards Zero-Carbon Future," Liyu continues to implement its Three-Source Strategy and foster deep integration across all aspects of electrification. Through scalable and replicable energy models, the company is empowering global supply chains to transition toward green, low-carbon operations—and contributing to the creation of a clean, secure, and efficient modern energy system.
