Exploring Opportunities in Clean Energy Cooperation

From June 12 to 15, 2025, the 4th China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo was successfully held in Changsha. As a leading Chinese enterprise specializing in gas power generation equipment for clean energy, LiyuPower was invited to attend the event. Led by Chairman Mr. Wang Yuefeng, the Liyu delegation warmly welcomed government and business representatives from six African countries for an in-depth exchange on future cooperation.

The visiting delegations included distinguished representatives from Namibia, Gabon, Nigeria, Zambia, Cameroon, Rwanda, and other nations. Among them were Ambassador Elia George Kaiyamo of Namibia, accompanied by the Director of Agriculture and the Head of the Investment Promotion Commission; Ambassador S.E. Baudelaire NDONG ELLA of Gabon and Mr. Ghislain MOANDZA MBOMA, Director General of the National Investment Agency; Mr. Joseph Tegbe, Director General of the Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership, along with Mr. Ayo Sotinrin, President of the Agricultural Bank, and Minister Counsellor Mrs. Ninikanwa Okey-Uche; Ambassador Iven Zyuulu of Zambia and Mr. Siazongo D. Siakalenge, Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet; Ambassador Don Martinho of Cameroon and senior officials from the Ministry of Trade and Economic Development, including Ms. Pelagie NGUIMOUT and Mr. Hayatou Abdoulaye. Senior government representatives from Rwanda also joined the visit.


During the visit, LiyuPower introduced its advanced technology and integrated solutions for gas power generation across various applications, including natural gas, coalbed methane, coal-to-gas, biomass gas, biogas, and landfill gas. The delegation expressed high praise for Liyu's capabilities. While touring the company's flexible production lines at the Changsha factory, the African guests gained firsthand insight into Liyu's manufacturing practices and engineering excellence. They witnessed the complete assembly and commissioning process of gas generator sets, forming a direct and lasting impression of the company's product quality and performance.

In the roundtable session, Chairman Wang Yuefeng presented LiyuPower's business strategy and development roadmap for the African market. The delegates recognized the company's adaptable and diversified technologies, as well as its ability to customize energy solutions for different national contexts. Several delegations expressed strong interest in accelerating cooperation and committed to facilitating meetings between LiyuPower and senior government officials in their home countries. Moving forward, it is anticipated that LiyuPower's projects in Nigeria and Cameroon will focus on natural gas power generation. In Zambia, development will center on syngas and coalbed methane solutions. Namibia will serve as a pilot market for LNG projects, while Gabon will explore opportunities in biomass gas and associated gas, with industrial off-gas projects considered for the medium to long term.


Africa continues to be a key strategic partner in China's path to high-quality, sustainable development. Under the "Ten Cooperation Initiatives" jointly launched by China and Africa, the Green Development Partnership Initiative places clean energy cooperation at its core. Chairman Wang Yuefeng reaffirmed LiyuPower's commitment to contributing to the Belt and Road Initiative and the China-Africa community of shared future, delivering sustainable green power to light up Africa.


This visit and LiyuPower's participation in the 4th China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo reflect the company's growing role in global clean energy cooperation. It also sends a clear signal of LiyuPower's long-term potential and determination to contribute to Africa's clean energy transformation.
